Bowling pins: Snowmen

10 Jan

Happy new year everyone! Loaded with new ideas and plenty excitement, we are starting off the year in a creative mood. Here is the first DIY in 2018. A craft that will become a great pastime for the little ones. Creating it first and then playing with it.

All the kids in the family can have a blast creating a set of bowling pins out of recycled cardboard shaped like snowmen. And when they are done they can enjoy a fun bowling game using a ball of wrapping paper. Easy, fun and sustainable!

STEP BY STEP:

Bowling pins: Snowmen1 – Download our templates and print them out. Draw the two circle shapes in the templates on some recycled cardboard to make the snowman’s body. Cut the nose and scarf out of the orange card. For the hat, eyes and buttons use the black one.

2 – Colour in the two cardboard circles with white paint and stick all the parts on it. You can draw on a smile and other details with a felt-tip pen.

3 – Stick two toilet paper roles or a big kitchen one on the back with hot glue as a stand for each snowman. Make as many bowling pins as you want!

4 – Make a ball out of used wrapping paper to use as a bowling ball and… let the game begin!

Once again, we wish you a happy new year!
