Summer is the ideal time ideal to enjoy everyday pleasures: an afternoon at the beach, a get together with your friends outdoors, a nice cold drink or an ice-cream to fight the heat… Every day there are more and more recipes for refreshments and homemade ice-cream. Have you ever tried to make one? Getting together with all your friends is a good excuse to try it out, don’t you think?
A drink that has recently become very trendy is Pink Lemonade. There are several recipes, all very easy to follow. And if you combine them with a cool glass bottle, the result will be a guaranteed success.
Today we’re going to help you organize a Pink Lemonade Party so you can invite your friends and have lots of fun. The focus of the party will be our Pink Lemonade in one of our beautiful glass bottles.

The best thing about these really cool bottles is that you can give them any use you want. For this fantastic party we’re organizing, we’re going to give it three uses: we will use them as glasses, as decoration for the table and, at the end of the party, our guests will be able to take them home as a souvenir from this amazing party.

Materials:
- Juice bottles (ref: E-TC3)
- Flamingo tags (ref: I-EI5_10)
- Decorative cardboard cactus with coloured plant pot (ref: I-FC18)
- Thin hemp string (ref: E-CD5)
- Paint for glass
- Paintbrush
- Colourful straws and plastic cocktail mixing sticks
- Scissors
Ingredients for our Pink Lemonade
- Lemons and limes
- Cherries
- Mint leaves
- Crushed ice
- Stevia o sugar, if it needs sweetening
STEP BY STEP:
- First of all we’re going to give the bottles a personal touch. To do so we will need special paint for glass and a flat paintbrush. We will paint a couple of lines by hand around the bottom of the bottle. By painting it by hand the imperfect lines will add a homemade effect. If you prefer the lines to be a bit more perfect, you can stick a bit of painter’s tape or washi tape to make sure you draw clean straight lines.For the drying process of the paint, follow the instructions on the container itself.
- On every flamingo tag you must write the names of each of our guests with the help of a permanent marker.
- Cut a piece of string and wrap it around the top of the bottle a few times. At the third turn put the string through the flamingo tag, make a knot and give the string a couple more turns.
- In each bottle we place: a couple of cherries (split in two), a few slices or lemon and lime, some mint leaves and a bit of crushed ice.
- In another container squeeze out the juice of a few of lemons to obtain the lemonade.
- Now, pour some lemonade in every bottle and place couple of straws in them. With a mixing stick, stir the lemonade well and if necessary you can add some sugar or stevia. As a finishing touch to our table we can include our lovely cardboard cactus.
And, voilà! We have the trendy Pink Lemonade in the coolest glass bottles. Prepare a pretty table and invite your friends, I’m sure they will love the pink lemonade in glass bottles you have customised yourself.
