Now the good weather is here we once again want to meet friends, get tea ready for the little ones (and for those not so little) and enjoy the best company. Does it happen to you too?
There is one (fantastic) animal that will join us this spring… The unicorn! They are in fashion and we love them. They are fun, colourful and carry us to a land of fantasy we won’t want to leave.
That is why we are going to give you a great idea for your parties, meetings and soirées for the coming months…
In the following DIY you will find step by step instructions to transform one of our coolest boxes, the popcorn box for parties, in a very cute unicorn with every little detail.
Oh! We almost forgot… To make it a little easier you will find a downloadable template we are sure you’ll love.
Are you ready? Let’s get to work!
Materials:
Scissors
Pen or felt-tip pen
Double-sided tape
Colourful marshmallows (or whatever you choose)
Step by step:
- Download and print your downloadable template with all the details you’ll need to create your unicorn and cut out the rainbow.
- Continue cutting out the rest. Now you’ll need the face… you’ll have such a cool unicorn when you are done!
- Last of all, cut out the label so you can write the names of the guests to the event you are organising.
- Take the rainbow and stick a piece of double-sided tape on each side. Careful! You must place the tape on the coloured side, not on the blank one.
- Remove the dark side of the tape and stick your rainbow handle to the box as you see in the image.
- Use the double-sided tape again so the unicorn’s face is properly stuck to the box.
- Now it’s time to draw on the mouth and eyes. Our advice is to draw eyes with lashes, they will look great!
Now the unicorn box is ready you can fill it up with whatever you choose. We have chosen colourful marshmallows that look delicious but let your imagination roam free and explore the endless possibilities our box has to offer.
