We advise that before you place an order, you know what you need the box for. It also helps when you know what you're going to put inside the box or who its for. We’re sure that in our catalogue that’s always increasing, you’ll find the most adequate model for you. When you’re browsing our website, be sure to read more information on the boxes and the tips we give, for example: inner and outer measurements, difficulty assembling level, approximate assembling time, weight a box can carry etc. If you need any suggestions, don’t hesitate to check ‘section ‘Ideas’ section. We’ll surprise you for sure!

Como es muy difícil que tengamos una caja de las exactas medidas que buscas, te aconsejamos que solamente introduzcas una o dos de las medidas que buscas, dejando un campo en blanco.
SelfPackaging promotes creativity, that’s why we love giving you as many decoration ideas as possible for our gift boxes. You can find inspiration in our ‘Ideas’ section. To elaborate them, we use both own and external materials, that’s why sometimes you can’t purchase the gift boxes alike to what the decoration you may see.
If you’re interested in any of the materials we use and can’t find the option to purchase these specific materials on our website, we will be more than happy to guide you where you can find them. For that, you can contact us here, attaching the image link.
SelfPackaging can offer you good prices thanks to the standardisation of our catalogue, both gift boxes and raw materials. If you want a specific paper you can’t find it on our website, you should take into account that it will be necessary at least the acquisition of the whole paper pack which contains 100 pieces of paper.

The boxes that you will find in this section can be customised with no minimum order requirement and up to 250 units.
To know the price, you just need to choose the quantity, size, colour and click on “Print”. Bear in mind that this option is only avaiblable in the desktop version of our website. You can see on this short video how to use our online design tool.
Using it is a piece of cake!. Once you click on “Design”, the instructions of the tool will appear. Read them carefully! There is important information included.
Once you click on “Accept”, the design tool will appear. First, you have to name your design. From there, bring your creativity out! you can upload pictures from your computer, enter text and choose fonts, and even use some of our pictures and patterns from the “Library” section. You can see on this video how to use it.
We highly recommend being logged in so the designs can be saved correctly.
Some boxes just allow printing on one side due to technical issues. In case you want a box fully printed and cannot be ordered through our website, you can ask for a quotation here. Minimum 300 units.
Orders that include printing have a lead time of 9 working days (EU countries) and 12 working days (non-EU countries).
When adding the printed boxes to the shopping cart, please, read the conditions that appear and that have to be accepted. Even though we would love to offer shorter lead times on this type of orders, we cannot guarantee it, this is why choosing express service does not guarantee an earlier delivery.
The colours that can be printed in JUST white ink are these ones: Black, Dark blue, Green, Brown, Burgundy, Metallic bronze and Metallic Anthracite.
Remind that if your logo is white, you have to transform it to black before uploading it, so it will be displayed correctly!
At the moment, we cannot offer this service, although we would love to see all your designs. This is why you will receive the file you have uploaded attached to the order confirmation email. If you see any error, please let us know as soon as possible! Once the order is “In Process” we cannot make any modification or cancellation.
In case you want the same box (same reference, size and colour) but with two different printing designs, you must place two separate orders. If you upload them in the same order, we would just receive one of the designs to be printed on all the units ordered.
The file types that can be uploaded are .JPG and .PNG. We highly suggest that l formato de las imágenes que puedes subir al configurador son .JPG y .PNG. They should have a 300ppp resolution, if not, they will not look good when printed. The colour profile of your images must be RGB, because if they are in CMYK profile, the colours you see on the screen can vary from the colours printed.
If you choose a white box, that background will not be printed. But be careful! If the box chosen is in any other of the colours available and your picture has a white background, it will be printed.
The boxes are sent flat with the necessary glue or tape in case the assembling of that box needs it. Assembling them is the most entertaining and fun part!
By choosing the pre-assembling service, we will deliver the boxes folded but with the glue or tape already applied. The only thing you will have to do when you receive them is add finishing details and structure the boxes into a three-dimensional object… and ready to go!
To ask for this service, you have to click on the button “Extras” at the product page and then “Pre-assembly”.
In case this service is not available in the box you choose, this means that box does not need glue or need to be assembled with hot glue, which cannot be previously applied.
Each box has a different level of difficulty that you can see on its product page. Besides that, you will also find there the video of how to assemble the boxes step by step. Just click on the icon on the top of the image. You can also find all of our assembly videos on our Youtube Channel.

On the page of each box, we provide a list of tools needed to assemble specific boxes. Tools such as; hot glue, hot glue gun, cutter, scissors, double-sided tape, adhesive tape gun etc.
Because we care for our customer’s needs, we can also provide you with all of the tools you need to assemble a box. Visit our section ‘Tools’ and you will find everything you need for your gift box assembling.
No way! We give you the double-sided tape for free with your order. In the case that the gift box you choose needs hot glue for its assembly, then you can buy it on our online shop. You can find hot glue and the hot glue gun in our section ‘Tools’.
At Selfpackaging we are worried about the environment because we work mainly with paper, so the forest preservation and the environment are very important for us.
Our boxes made of kraft micro-flute cardboard and cardstock (300gsm) are made of recycled materials and most of our papers have the FSC certification. You can check the list of certifications our materials have on this link.
All our cardboards have a weight of paper pretty resistant, about 285 and 300gsm. Aside from that, we have some models which are thought to support a bigger weight, those made of micro-flute cardboard and grey cardboard (both recycled)
You can ask up to 4 samples per order. They can be ordered by clicking on "order samples" button (on the top of the picture of the box). Make sure you choose the size you are interested in before clicking on that button. You will receive the box ordered in any colour available + a piece of cardboard of the colour chosen. We will add on your account a voucher code equivalent to the price of the samples that you can use on your next order (excluding shipping cost).
They will be shipped by UPS. The lead time is 5-7 working days to EU countries. The sample will be of the chosen size but random colour. Be aware that the samples are sent pre-assembled, but that in the final order, the glue or tape will be sent apart.
At the moment, we do not offer this service. The samples do not include printing, sleeves, tags or any extra accessory. In case you want them, you should order the minimum order quantity required for that box.
Samples are sent random colours depending on the availability, but we always include a piece of cardboard of the colour chosen so you can see the colour physically.
You will find the voucher code in your account, “my vouchers section”. In order to use it on your next order, you just need to copy and paste it on the required field… and the discount is applied!
Most of our boxes do not have a minimum order quantity and you will be able to order up to 2.000 units. In case you enter a quantity below the MOQ, a message will be displayed with the minimum quantity of boxes required.
Remind that if you want a printed box, you can order up to 250 units through our website. In case you need more units, you can contact us here
To purchase from SelfPackaging, you don’t need to have been previously registered. You can surf our website, choose the gift boxes you want to order and then proceed to purchase without being registered.
Once you’re in the purchasing process, we will ask you for the necessary details for payment, the invoicing and the shipment of your order, at the end of the process you will be registered.
Yes, the prices include the Spanish VAT, which is 21% currently.
For the purchases in the Spanish territory, the VAT charge applies. If the buyer has a EU VAT number or it does not belong to the EU, the purchase will be exempt from tax. Import charges and taxes will be charged to the customer once it arrives at the destination frontier.
In case you have a VAT number and the order is sent to a EU country, you should indicate in when placing the order. You just have to enter the name of the company and then the VAT number field will appear. Please, remind to include the letters referencing your country before writing the numbers.There must be no spaces or hyphens. Example: ES00000000.
Sure, the Internet is a big window to the world and we’ve opened it widely. You can check our delivery rates for national and international deliveries here, with approximated delivery dates.
SelfPackaging has no stock of products, we always produce boxes on request, and for that we need a minimum time of 5 working days, plus shipping time (for more information, please click here).
In case you have a momentary urgency, we try to meet customer requirements in deliveries as efficiently as possible. For that, contact us here indicating the order ference and the matter of urgency, so we can process your order with high priority. However, we can’t guarantee this service, we will try it (specially within our busiest times - November and December).
Remind that the Express production option does not guarantee an earlier delivery if the order includes printing items. You can see more information about our deadlines here.
As we produce against on demand, the orders that are already being processed cannot be cancelled or modified. In case they do not have printing, you can always return the order. You can find how to do that here.
Once you complete the purchase, you will receive an order confirmation email where you will be able to check all the information of the order placed. The invoice will be attached on that email as well.
If the boxes ordered include printing, you will receive a file with the printing design you have uploaded. If you see any error, please contact us by e-mail or phone call as soon as possible!
If the order goes to Spain, yes it is necessary to include it. If you have a EU VAT number, it will also be necessary if you want to be exempted from the Spanish VAT (21%).
The shipping cost depends on the type of box, quantity and country of delivery. The amount will appear once you add the products on the cart and enter the delivery details. You can see our conditions here
Free shipping applies on orders between €95 and €300 as long as the order does not include any micro-flute box (description: microchannel), which are shipping boxes, mug boxes... The country of destiny must be Spain (Peninsula), France, Italy, Germany and The UK and a UPS Access Point must be selected.
Note: due to external reasons, the Access Points might be not available some periods of the year. You can see our conditions here.
At Selfpackaging, the more units you order, the more the price per unit decreases. This is the reason why we cannot defray the cost of the shipping, as the price of the boxes is already very tight.
Our production time is 7 working days. In case you need the order urgently, you can use our Express Production option (5 working days), that you can choose during the checkout. Remind that the Express production option does not guarantee an earlier delivery if the order includes printing items. If the order goes outside the EU and customs have to be cleared, the shipping time might increase.These lead times may vary in promotional and high demand seasons.
When your order leaves our factory, you’ll receive an automatic email with order tracking number and the courier service. You can also contact the courier to track the progress of your delivery.

In orders delivered to countries outside the EU, the Spanish VAT (21%) is not included. The taxes or additional charges caused by the customs clearance will always be paid by the customer. In case the customer does not want to pay that charge, Selfpackaging will not be able to refund the order as the courier will not send it back.
The production time is the same as the orders sent to the peninsula: a maximum of 5 working days. From there, it will depend on the transit time of the shipment, which you can check here.
You can choose among the following payment options:

Bank transfer. If you choose this option, once you confirm the order, we will send you our bank details where the bank transfer has to be done. Remind that we do not start to process the order until the payment is received.

Even though we wish we could help you in that situation, if you receive a notification that says that your credit card has been rejected or “payment error, contact the merchant”, you should place the order again, contact your bank to know the reason for rejection or place the order using a different payment method.

Discount coupons issued by SelfPackaging can be used as a method of payment to purchase from the website.
All you have to do is enter the promotion or discount code into the discount box at the point of purchase.
SelfPackaging can make mistakes. It doesn’t happen usually, but for a few occasions, it may occur that we get orders misplaced. If this occurs, please contact us providing your order code and explaining the mistake that we made and we’ll be sure to help you. For that, you can contact us here.

If the boxes do not meet your expectations, you can always return them, as long as the order meets the conditions on our website.
To process the exchange or return, you must follow these steps:
1.- Go to your order history in your profile on the Selfpackaging website
2.- Click on the "Return" button on the corresponding order.
3.- Select the products you wish to return, the quantity, describe the reason for the return, and the refund method. Please note that the discount voucher reimbursement will be made immediately upon receipt of the merchandise and the refund on the account can take up to 14 days to be made.
4.- Send the returned products properly packed and specifying the order number and contact email to:

5.- Once we receive the package and check its state, we will proceed to refund the price of the items returned by the same method which the payment was made or by means of a discount voucher if you so choose.
If you return part of the products of the same order, the amount to be returned will be calculated considering the price of the products acquired at the end, not the total products of the original order.
The transport costs of the return will always be borne by the customer. We will not accept returns sent using cash on delivery.
In no case will the amount paid for the delivery of your order be returned once you have been charged. Under no circumstances can a personalized product be returned.
No returns will be accepted that are not processed through the website.
If you need the invoice with the Additional VAT (5.20%) you cannot place the order through our website and pay by credit card. You must follow these steps:

Place the order through the website, choosing “Bank wire” as payment method.

Reply the Order confirmation e-mail you will receive asking for the invoice with this additional taxes.

As soon as we have the invoice modified, we will send it to you so the payment can be done.
Once we receive the transfer, we will start the production of the order.
