At SelfPackaging we love showing love and tenderness to our family and friends. There are so many ways to show it! Nowadays we are focussing on a really cute idea so that you can send a nice message to your loved ones.
Spreading the love on a postcard is great, but what if we could give it some volume and a surprise element…then that’s even better! In our online store you can find a kit with boxes containing nice messages which we will use to create these cute little boxes.
Think about the lucky person who will be receiving the nice box and what message you would like to send to them. So let’s get started!

MATERIALS:
– Coloured card
– Coloured marker pens
– Round manual puncher
– Scissors or utility knife
– Double-sided tape
STEP BY STEP:
1. First, cut up the little pieces of white and coloured card to 5.6 cm by 3.5 cm with the scissors or the utility knife.
2. Write a message on each piece of paper which will go on the box lid. The messages on the box kit are written vertically, so it’s a good idea to continue with this pattern. With regards the messages, you can get some inspiration from what we have written. For example, for the “You are my sunshine” box we have written “My only sunshine”; for the “Love always” box, we have added “It’s the only I need”.
3. Stick the mini cards to the inside of each little box with the double-sided tape.
4. Now let your imagination run wild and give the finishing touches to your box. We have made little coloured circles like confetti to put inside each little box. You can also use washitape to decorate the inside of your box for instance.
Now you can spread love and tenderness to your family and friends with these cute little boxes!
