<\/p>\nDecember is just around the corner and with it comes advent. Little by little we start to decorate our homes with Christmas colours and objects, and making them yourself is always more fun and original.<\/p>\n
Today we are going to combine two very Christmassy objects in a single project: A Christmas wreath and an advent calendar. How? We are going to use different little boxes for each day\u2019s gift and hang them from the wreath.<\/p>\n
The star colours for Christmas are red, green, and of course, white. We’ll save green for the branches on the wreath, red for twelve of the boxes and white for the decorations. The remaining boxes will be Kraft-coloured.<\/p>\n
We have chosen to hang the boxes from a wreath but you can hang them from the Christmas tree, dry logs or place them wherever you prefer.<\/p>\n
The little ones can help us with this craft and they\u2019ll really enjoy it. Let’s get started!<\/p>\n

A super post in collaboration with Esencia Gr\u00e1fica.<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Materials:<\/strong><\/p>\n Step by step:<\/strong><\/p>\n Here are the 24 designs we have made.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Now it is your turn to decorate the 24 boxes in your own style. Assemble them first and then use different accessories to make them unique: felt, ribbons, washi tape, cardboard… Try to make sure the decoration of all the boxes matches a single style.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Before you close them, place a chocolate or a sweet in each box. Whatever your little ones like best.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Use hot glue or double-sided tape to fix the decorations to the boxes so they are properly fixed.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Make a small hole in each box and tie a section of Baker’s twine to one end. We will tie the other end to the cardboard wreath. The strings don\u2019t need to be the same length. This way, each box will hang at a different height.<\/p>\n Next, cut out a cardboard ring to make the base of the wreath. Make 24 little holes at the bottom so you can tie the strings on the boxes. Try to distribute the boxes so it looks visually balanced.
